April Love is a 1957 comedy, drama, and musical movie based on the 1941 novel, “Phantom Filly,” by George Agnew Chamberlain.
The film is about a teenage boy from Chicago named Nick Conover (Pat Boone) who is sent to live with his aunt, Henrietta Bruce (Jeanette Nolan), and uncle, Jed Bruce (Arthur O’ Connell) horse farm in Kentucky.
Nick’s parents sent him to live after that. He was arrested for joyriding in a stolen vehicle.
