  1. Secretariat - this was the name of the first horse to ever win the Triple Crown horse racing event. Later in his career, he went on to win five Eclipse awards, one of which was Horse of the Year when he was 2 and 3 years old.
  2. Red Rum - he was the winner of the Grand National in 1973, 1974 and 1977. Even in the intervening years (1975 and 1976), he was the runner-up.
