#1 Ariat Women's Scout Paddock Boot  (WINNER)

You can’t beat a boot that takes rider comfort seriously. That’s why I’m such a fan of ARIAT’s products.

They are on the expensive side, but the advanced technology used for the insole and tread means spending many hours in your boots doesn’t leave you with sore feet.

These boots are made with premium leather which molds to your foot better than synthetic material. As a result, you end up with a more comfortable boot.

They contain 4LR technology which is ARIAT’s specially designed footbed. The insole contains four layers that help absorb shocks to the foot and thus reducing fatigue.

What Other Horse Riders Are Saying About Noble Equestrian Traditions Paddock Boots

If you find some types of paddock boots to narrow, these might be a good option for you. This rider really likes her pair of boots - "Great boots so far. Perfect fit for my wide feet, and I love them. Very comfortable."

What Makes a Good Paddock Boot: RIDING STYLES?

What makes the best paddock boots for riding? The first thing you need to do when choosing the best riding boots for you is to take a look at your riding discipline. If you have the wrong type of boot it can make riding more difficult than it needs to be.

Paddock boots are best for English riding disciplines, particularly those taking part in hunter jumper activities. If you plan to compete in the hunters or jumpers then you need to compare paddock boots vs tall boots.

Paddock boots while more common with English disciplines they are also popular with western riders.

For competing in English events, adults and older children will need tall riding boots. You will need a western boot for competitions in this discipline, so paddock boots aren't the right choice for you.

A good horseback riding boot will be designed for equestrian activities. Avoid fashion boots that have a riding style, these are not fit for purpose.

Boots will have a suitable heel, shape, flexibility, and protections in place to help make your riding experience as safe and comfortable as possible.

How to Choose the Right PADDOCK BOOT

Choosing the right horseback riding paddock boots is pretty simple but can get frustrating due to the many brands and models available. The first thing to do is figure out your budget.

This way you can narrow down your options to those you can afford. Next, decided if you want a zipper or lace style. This is a personal preference.

I myself prefer laced boots as they offer more support, but I love how easy zipper boots are to take on and off.

If you plan to show using half chaps then you need black boots, brown is not acceptable in these environments. However, brown is perfectly adequate for any riding outside the show arena.

Try on a few different styles before you pick the boot you like the best.

Conclusion

I hope your perfect boots are here waiting for you on this list! I’ve included a variety of styles and price ranges of good quality boots, so there’s something for experienced and casual riding.

Happy riding and my final tip are that I always need to remember to do is to clean my horse riding boots and you will need to as well!

Final Recommendation

ARIAT boots in the model that suits you best are always my first choice.

But if you are just starting riding lessons you are better off getting a less expensive boot until you’re sure you are going to stick with it.

For this TuffRider’s starter boots for women, men, and children as perfect!
